Admitted to the Bar of New York State in 1994, Alberto Ebanks began his legal career as an associate representing financial institutions. Thereafter, he accepted an appointment for Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx. Alberto later went into private practice for a nationally renowned law firm where he represented members of various law enforcement unions, including but not limited to the FBI, DEA and ATF.

After years of successfully practicing law, Alberto took on additional roles representing professional athletes, both in courtrooms as attorney, and out of courtrooms as certified Agent with the NBPA.

Alberto's criminal defense practice has taken him all over the state of New York, from the Bronx to Buffalo. In Federal court, he has defended individuals and corporations from coast to coast, as well as internationally. He has represented everyone from Rappers to Rabbis on a variety of cases ranging from "mischief to murder."

With over 100 trials under his belt, Alberto has developed a reputation for his incisive surgical approach to trial work. He is responsible for setting precedent at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, and at the Civil Service Commission, and numerous outright dismissals of cases where the clients faced potential life sentences.

Alberto is a life member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the New York State Bar Association. Alberto is consistently recognized by Super Lawyers, the National Trial Lawyers, and American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys as among the best in the field of Criminal Defense.
